It all started December 17, 2009 when a person very close to me said those three special words…”...you’re cancer-free.” I had a new lease on life and I was determined to do more to enrich it. After years of putting off my interest in photography, I decided to try my hand in it. Like many of my hobbies, I tried to learn everything I could about photography as quickly as possible. My goal was to at least have a photo session with a famous person within a year. Well after a year of doing this, I realize that photography is more than just structured learning. It’'s about creativity, physics, imagination and vision among other things. On my one year anniversary, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone. Love it or hate it, I was prepared for the critiquing of my work. Like many others, I lost interest in photography along the way. The standard portrait became the norm. Now with renewed level of enthusiasm, I vow to create at least one different photo a week. So check out my work, leave a comment if you will and thanks for looking.
